About PEZ100
Eduard Haas III's creation of peppermint candies in Austria in 1927 marks the birth of PEZ. Originally a non-smoking mint available in small tin boxes, PEZ has become an international staple for children and collectors alike. With headquarters in Traun, Austria and Orange, CT the company distributes PEZ candy to 80 countries and produces over 70 million dispensers each year.
In 2027, PEZ will be celebrating its 100th birthday. In addition to releasing special special artwork and new merchandise to be revealed, PEZ Candy USA is teaming up with the hosts of PEZamania to throw a birthday bash themed convention. The event will be in Orange, CT just steps away from the U.S. headquarters. Collector conventions have been happening since 1991 all around the world; however, this special occasion will mark the first time the PEZ company is teaming up with collectors to host an event of this kind.
Over three days (April 29, 30, and May 1) we will be celebrating and commemorating 100 years of the candy and dispenser so many have grown to love. We hope you will join us for this once in a lifetime birthday bash!
The "Corporate Stuff"
PEZ100 is being operated as a collaborative effort between VPC Productions, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and PEZ Candy USA. VPC Productions is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation and was founded in 2021 to be the organization that runs the Virtual PEZ Convention and the VPC Scholarship Fund. In 2023 it added PEZamania to the VPC Productions umbrella. And now it will be the joint hosts of PEZ100 - The PEZ company's 100th birthday celebration in the United States.
As a nonprofit organization, all proceeds from the event registration, dealer fees, or possible charity auctions must either be donated to charity or be used to run the event. Any proceeds from these sources that exceed the costs of running PEZ100 will be put toward the VPC Community Scholarship and/or a to-be selected charity local to the Orange, CT area. VPC Productions cannot profit off of proceeds from this event.

This letter can be used to request donations for our event. For example, if you are attending a ComicCon and getting autographs, celebrities will often be willing to sign a dispenser free of charge if it is for charity.
At the end of each fiscal year, our financial information will be available upon request.
